Hello folks!
I decided to sell my shitty Laptop in order to buy a new gaming rig.
After the Sandy Bridge hype I too decided to go for the 1155 socket. A lot of research was done and now I've got all the components except the Core i5-2500k. They sell that shitty 2500 but not the 2500k? Come on guys!
Another 3 or so days 'til i can finally play games on my new computer.
Well if you're interested in what i bought here's a list:
Mainboard: Asus P8P67
Graphics Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 570 1280MB
RAM: 2x2GB G-Skill RipJaws PC3-12800U CL7
Case: Lian Li PC-8NB
PSU: Nesteq E²CS X-Strike XS-600 600W
CPU Fan: Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B
HDD: WD Caviar Black 640GB
So I'll just wait for the CPU until monday then :/
You've got some decent components there. Much better than my gateway laptop.

AntwortenLöschenWell the new i5-2500k and i7-2600k are performance wise the best CPU's on the market for games. As the performance of the 2500k and 2600k dont differ too much I dont see a point to spend 100 bucks more for the i7.
